Let me tell you about PAL we are a company who provides a flexible individualized program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live on their own with the support of a PAL roommate and/or participate in a quality adult day program.  Our PALs offer support and friendship to our clients in assisting them to live their lives as independently as possible in a safe and supportive environment.

We customize to each client's individual needs and goals.  Their PAL will give them the support they need to maneuver life's challenges of living within their community.

Why should you choose our supportive living program over a group home?  In one word freedom!  You as our client along with you PAL are in charge of your own decisions.  Ehat to cook for dinner, what to watch on TV, what social activities to participate in, which football team to cheer for.  PAL is there to guide you on making good choices, to ensure your health and safety while staying within you budget.

There are several good support living service programs out there so why choose PAL over other programs?  Quality of life is our number one goal for all our clients.  Not just providing a safe and supportive environment for you, we believe it is important for you to continue learning and building on the skills you already know.  Being responsible for yourself, having a reason to get up in them morning and making a difference is what makes life worth living.  PAL will assist you, our client, in staying involved with you day program or job, we we involve you in making important choices on budgeting, housekeeping shopping, cooking, hygiene, transportation, and social interactions with family, friends and peers.

PAL is in the process of being certified as an adult day program vendor through the San Diego Regional Center.   We hope to provide a unique program dedicated to the interests, needs and goals of our clients. We want to encourage all of our clients to reach for the stars.  Striving to meet and surpass their individual goals.

I have 25 plus years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the educational environment.  I am passionate about seeing my clients succeed!!  Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients beam with pride for their accomplishments.  I primarily have worked with young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities between the ages of 18-22 years old, focusing on vocational and life skills.  Helping them achieve the highest level of independence to the best of their abilities.

My son and partner, Mike has been involved the this amazing population sincehe was a young boy of 8 years old.  Mike started out volunteering in my classroom and later worked in the school district as a special education instructional assistant, as a supportive living roommate for 5 years and as a DSP for the ARC of San Diego.

All our PAL employees are screened and monitored on a regular basis.  We are a small company who give personal attention to each of our client's needs.

Mike and I are passionate about seeing our clients meet their maximum protentional and loving their life!!
